After 12 years in the 520 Pike building, WSU decided to capitalize on the opportunity created by the downswing in the commercial real estate market and move our WSU Downtown Seattle office. On Monday, October 1st, we moved to 901 Fifth Avenue (between Madison and Marion) in downtown Seattle, just a few blocks south of our previous location. Our new location was designed from the ground up to reflect WSU’s values and mission as well as create an efficient and collaborative work environment for our employees and our guests. We are pleased that our new building is silver LEED certified and the furniture is made with recycled materials and wood byproducts from local milling operations.
While our location may have changed, our services and mission remain constant. The WSU Downtown Seattle offices remain a primary staging ground for external outreach and engagement on the west side of the state for the WSU Foundation, the Cougar Athletic Fund, Small Business Development Center, Economic Development, Corporate Relations, WSU Extension, WSU Online/Global Campus, and Government Relations. In addition, it is the Seattle home of the Ruckelshaus Center, a joint WSU/UW center dedicated to collaborative public policy.
Our New Address is:
