Admissions & Enrollment Management

The enrollment counselors at Washington State University West are available to answer questions regarding admissions, scholarships and financial aid, and to provide information regarding upcoming visitation programs on campus. The enrollment counselors visit high schools and community colleges on the Westside of the state from September through June, and work closely with prospective students and parents to inform them about WSU's world-class academic programs, facilities, and faculty. Christa holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and has been a part of the WSU team for 11 years. As the Enrollment Services Transfer Recruitment Coordinator, Christa specializes in transfer recruitment and pre-advising. Working with students at community colleges throughout the West side of the state, Christa is available for advising appointments and information sessions.

Melissa Uyesugi has been with Washington State University since 2005. She works primarily with transfer students throughout the West side of the state and also handles recruitment for the state of Hawai'i. Melissa has a bachelor's degree in Ethnic Studies, and a Masters Degree from Seattle University in Student Development Administration. Melissa welcomes students and advisors to contact her directly to arrange advising appointments and informational sessions.
