As Senior Program and Marketing Representative for the Center of Distance and Professional Education (CDPE), Thomas is responsible for recruiting potential students for the Distance Degree Programs and seeking professional development opportunities for the Professional Education office. Thomas can be found frequently visiting community colleges and businesses around Western Washington and meeting with students, advisors and human resource managers about new developments in distance learning. Thomas joined CDPE in April 2005 after 5 years of working in the field of marketing and advertising.

Chris earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Gonzaga University. He works with current WSU Distance Degree Programs’ students and with prospective students in the Seattle area. Chris teaches a career development class for the University and welcomes current and prospective students to contact him with any career-related questions or concerns.
